Only the servants of God (the followers of Christ in the New
Testament), will be able to understand the book of Revelation.
This will be proved with scriptures, and is repeated throughout
the Bible. The servants of God, those who endured all things for
Christ’s sake by following his teachings, until the end (the end
of their lives), will be raised up again before the second
coming of Christ. The understanding of Revelation, will be
giving to them. Revelation 3:10: “Because
thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the
world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
Revelation 1:3:
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of
this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:
for the time is at hand.”
As explained in Revelation 1:1: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which
must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his
angel unto his servant John:”
The prophecies (“things which must shortly come to pass”)
are found throughout the book of Revelation. The book of
Revelation contains the same prophecies as the book that Christ
was worthy to take from the Lord in
Revelation
5:1-7. That book has seven seals; Christ opens each
seal, one through seven, in order. The prophecies contained in
the book of Revelation, must be placed in their proper seal.
It is important to note, the gospel has not changed concerning
the Gentiles who accepted, and followed Christ’s teachings,
those who endured all things until the end (the end of their
lives). They are included as the servants of God. Ephesians
3:6: “That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same
body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the Gospel.”
Galatians 1:8-9: “But even if we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to
you, let him be accursed." Verse 9: "As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone
preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received,
let him be accursed.”
Therefore, the Gentiles, those who accepted and endured all
things until the end for Christ’s sake, are fellow heirs and
partakers of the promises that were made to the Israelites.
Those promises are found throughout the Bible and include the
book of Revelation. The book of Revelation is a continuation of
the gospel of Christ!
