Revelation 21:1-4

The Kingdom of Heaven

Revelation 21:1: “And I” [John] “saw" [A vision of] "a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

Revelation 21:2: “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,” [This is literal] “prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Christ.

Revelation 21:3: “And I” [John] “heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God" [New Jerusalem] "is with men, and he” [God] “will dwell” [In New Jerusalem on the new earth] “with them,” [Those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life] “and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

Revelation 21:4: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”




Revelation 22:1-2

New Jerusalem

Revelation 22:1: “And he” [The angel] “shewed me” [John] “a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”

Revelation 22:2: “In the midst” [Middle] “of the street of it,” [The pure river of water of life] “and on either” [Both] “side of the river,” [The pure river of water of life] “was there the tree of life, which bare” [Had or carried] “twelve manner of fruits, and yielded” [Or produced] “her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree...”
