THE JUDGMENT OF THE GREAT WHORE


Revelation 17:1: “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials," [See Revelation 15:7] "and talked with me," [John] "saying unto me, Come hither; I" [The angel with one of the seven vials] "will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”


Revelation 17:2: “With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”



THE WOMAN AND THE BEAST


Revelation 17:3: “So he" [The angel] "carried me" [John] "away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw" [A vision of] "a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” See Revelation 13:1.


Revelation 17:4: “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:”

Revelation 17:5: “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”


Revelation 17:6: “And I" [John] "saw the woman" [See verse 18 and Revelation 18:10] "drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:” [See Revelation 18:24] “and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”



Revelation 17:7: “And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I WILL TELL THEE THE MYSTERY OF THE WOMAN, AND OF THE BEAST THAT CARRIETH HER, WHICH HATH THE SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS.”



THE MYSTERY OF THE BEAST



Message to reader: The Beast That WAS, and Is NOT, and Yet IS

Revelation 17:8: “The beast that thou sawest” [The beast seen in Revelation 17:3 and Revelation 13:1] was,” [The beast with seven heads and ten horns (all seven heads are fallen/dead)] “and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit,” [The king of Babylon is The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed. His spirit shall be taken from hell (the bottomless pit), and placed in body of the head that was wounded unto death, see Revelation 13:3, [He]), is the eight head/king and is of the seven heads (the vision seen in Revelation 17:3 and Revelation 13:1)]. That head (the eighth head/king) shall] “…go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was,” [The beast with seven heads and ten horns] “and is not,” [Because The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed (the eighth head) is ruling] “and yet is.” Of the seven heads of the beast seen in the vision.



Revelation 17:8: “The beast that thou sawest" [In verse 3] "was," [All seven heads/kings are dead, see Revelation 13:3] "and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit,” [See Revelation 13:3] “and go into perdition:” [See Revelation 19:20] “and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder,” [Synonyms: fascinated, admire, esteem etc.] whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world,” [See Revelation 13:3-4, 8] “when they behold the BEAST that was," [The beast with seven heads and ten horns] "and is not," [Because the eighth head/king/the BEAST whose deadly wound was healed is ruling] "and yet is.” See verse 11.


Revelation 17:9: “And here is the mind which hath wisdom.” [The understanding of the Bible] “The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”


Revelation 17:10: “And there are seven kings:" [See 2 Esdras 11:25-31 and Revelation 13:1] "five are fallen," [See 2 Esdras 11:33 and 2 Esdras 12:26] "and one is," [The SIXTH king] "and the other" [The SEVENTH king] "is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.” See 2 Esdras 12:27-28.


Revelation 17:11: “And the beast that was," [The seven heads of the beast] "and is not," [See verse 8 and Revelation 13:3] "even he is the eighth,” [King] “and is of the seven," [The seven heads of the beast] "and goeth into perdition.” See Revelation 19:20.



THE TEN HORNS


Revelation 17:12: “And the ten horns" [See verse 3] "which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the BEAST.” The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed.


Revelation 17:13: “These" [The ten horns] "have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the BEAST.” The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed.


Revelation 17:14: “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings:" [See Revelation 19:11-12, 15-16, 19, 21] "and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”



THE MYSTERY OF THE WOMAN


Revelation 17:15: “And he" [The angel] "saith unto me," [John] "The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”


Revelation 17:16: “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast," [See verses 3, 12] "these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.” See Jeremiah 51:11, 27-29.


Revelation 17:17: “For God hath put in their” [The ten horns/kings'] “hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the BEAST, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”


Revelation 17:18: “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city,” [See Revelation 18:10] “which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”



Message to reader: The Man of Sin

It should be noted, that according to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and Revelation 17:8-11, The Man of Sin and the BEAST whose deadly wound was healed are the same.
