John 20:1-2, 6-9, 19-20

John 20:1: " The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre," [A burial place] "and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre."


John 20:2: "Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord" [Jesus Christ] "out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him."


John 20:6: "Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,"


John 20:7: "And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself."


John 20:8: "Then went in also that other disciple," [John] "which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed."


John 20:9: "For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he" [Jesus] "must rise again from the dead."


John 20:19: "Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you."


John 20:20: "And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord."

Acts 2:14, 38-39, 46-47

Acts 2:14: "But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:"


Acts 2:38: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."


Acts 2:39: "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."


Acts 2:46: "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,"


Acts 2:47: "Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

1 John 2:18: "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."


1 John 2:19: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."


1 John 2:24: "Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father."


1 John 2:25: "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life."
