John 6:37-40

Everlasting Life

John 6:37: "All that the Father giveth me" [Jesus Christ] "shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."


John 6:38: "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me."


John 6:39: "And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."


John 6:40: "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."




Hebrews 10:21-27, 35-39

Hebrews 10:21: "And having an high priest" [Jesus Christ] "over the house of God;"


Hebrews 10:22: "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."


Hebrews 10:23: "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)"


Hebrews 10:24: "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"


Hebrews 10:25: "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."


Hebrews 10:26: "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"


Hebrews 10:27: "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."


Hebrews 10:35: "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward."


Hebrews 10:36: "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."


Hebrews 10:37: "For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry."


Hebrews 10:38: "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."


Hebrews 10:39: "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." Everlasting life.




Revelation 14:13

Revelation 14:13: “And I” [John] “heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:” [The time period when John heard the voice from heaven] “Yea, saith the Spirit, that they” [Those that die in Christ/the righteous] “may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”
