Matthew 24:15-22

Matthew 24:15: “When ye therefore shall see The Abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)”


Matthew 24:16: “Then" [When the daily sacrifice is taken away and The Abomination of desolation is set-up] "let them which be in Judaea" [The followers of Christ] "flee into the mountains:”


Matthew 24:17: “Let him" [God's people] "which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:”


Matthew 24:18: “Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.”


Matthew 24:19: “And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!”


Matthew 24:20: “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:”


Matthew 24:21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”


Matthew 24:22: “And except those days" [The Great Tribulation period] "should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”


Matthew 10:34-39

Matthew 10:34: "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."


Matthew 10:35: "For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."


Matthew 10:36: "And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."


Matthew 10:37: "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."


Matthew 10:38: "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."


Matthew 10:39: "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
