Thy People Shall Be Delivered: Revelation 7:9-10, 13-17


Revelation 12:7-12

Revelation 12:7: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels” [The righteous angels] “fought against the dragon;” [Satan] “and the dragon fought and his angels," The wicked angels.


Revelation 12:8: “And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.”


Revelation 12:9: “And the great dragon was cast out,” [Of heaven] “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”


Revelation 12:10: “And I" [John] "heard" [At the time when Satan and his angels were cast out of heaven] "a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser” [Satan] “of our brethren is cast down,” [Into the earth] “which accused them before our God day and night.”


Revelation 12:11: “And they” [The brethren/Servants of God raised up again] “overcame him” [Satan] “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;" [The Spirit from God] "and they loved not their lives unto the death.”


Revelation 12:12: “Therefore” [Because Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven] “rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them." [The righteous angels] "Woe” [Persecution, killing, affliction etc.] “to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

A Time of Trouble

Matthew 24:15-16

Matthew 24:15: “When ye therefore shall see The Abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)”


Matthew 24:16: “Then" [When the daily sacrifice is taken away and The Abomination of desolation is set-up] "let them which be in Judaea" [The followers of Christ] "flee into the mountains:”


Matthew 24:17: “Let him" [God's people] "which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:”


Matthew 24:18: “Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.”


Matthew 24:19: “And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!”


Matthew 24:20: “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:”


Matthew 24:21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”


Matthew 24:22: “And except those days" [The Great Tribulation period] "should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”


Daniel 11:31-36

Daniel 11:31: "And arms shall stand on his part, and they" [The BEAST and The False Prophet] "shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."


Daniel 11:32: "And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."


Daniel 11:33: "And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days."


Daniel 11:34: "Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries."


Daniel 11:35: "And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed."


Daniel 11:36: "And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done."


Isaiah 33:2, 6

Isaiah 33:2: “O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.”


Isaiah 33:6: “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.”


2 Esdras 9:7-8

2 Esdras 9:7: “And every one that shall be saved, and shall be able to escape by his works, and by faith, whereby ye have believed,”


2 Esdras 9:8: “Shall be preserved from the said perils, and shall see my salvation in my land, and within my borders: for I have sanctified them for me from the beginning.”

Revelation 7:9-10, 13-17

Revelation 7:9: “After this I” [John] “beheld," [Another vision] "and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne,” [Of the Most High] “and before the Lamb,” [Christ] “clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”  


Revelation 7:10: “And" [The Great Multitude] "cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”


Revelation 7:13: “And one of the elders” [The 24 elders] “answered, saying unto me,” [John] “What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?”


Revelation 7:14: “And I” [John] “said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they” [The Great Multitude] “which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”


Revelation 7:15: “Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple:" [Holy Jerusalem] "and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.”


Revelation 7:16: “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.”

Revelation 7:17: “For the Lamb” [Christ] “which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
