Romans 5:18-21

Romans 5:18: "Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one" [Christ] "the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life."


Romans 5:19: "For as by one man's" [Adam's] "disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one" [Christ] "shall many be made righteous."


Romans 5:20: "Moreover the law" [Given unto Moses] "entered, that the offence" [Adam’s disobedience/sin] "might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:"


Romans 5:21: "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."




Hebrews 2:9, 14-18

Hebrews 2:9: "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man."


Hebrews 2:14: "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he" [Jesus] "also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;"


Hebrews 2:15: "And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."


Hebrews 2:16: "For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham."


Hebrews 2:17: "Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people."


Hebrews 2:18: "For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted."
