Hebrews 11:1, 6, 8-21

Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."


Hebrews 11:6: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."


Hebrews 11:8: "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."


Hebrews 11:9: "By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:"


Hebrews 11:10: "For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God."


Hebrews 11:11: "Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised."


Hebrews 11:12: "Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable."


Hebrews 11:13: "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth."


Hebrews 11:14: "For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country."


Hebrews 11:15: "And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned."


Hebrews 11:16: "But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore
God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city."

Hebrews 11:17: "By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,"


Hebrews 11:18: "Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:"


Hebrews 11:19: "Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure."


Hebrews 11:20: "By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come."


Hebrews 11:21: "By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff."

Hebrews 7:1-11

Hebrews 7:1: "For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;"


Hebrews 7:2: "To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;"


Hebrews 7:3: "Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually."

Genesis 14:19: "And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:"

Hebrews 7:4: "Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils."


Hebrews 7:5: "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:"


Hebrews 7:6: "But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises."


Hebrews 7:7: "And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better."


Hebrews 7:8: "And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth."


Hebrews 7:9: "And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham."


Hebrews 7:10: "For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him."


Hebrews 7:11: "If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest" [Christ] "should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?"

Romans 4:1-25

Romans 4:1: "What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?"


Romans 4:2: "For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God."


Romans 4:3: "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness."


Romans 4:4: "Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned” [Counted/esteemed] “of grace, but of debt."


Romans 4:5: "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."


Romans 4:6: "Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,"


Romans 4:7: "Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered."


Romans 4:8: "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."


Romans 4:9: "Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision [The Jews] “only, or upon the uncircumcision [The Gentiles/other nations] “also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness."


Romans 4:10: "How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision."


Romans 4:11: "And he” [Abraham] “received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised;” [The Gentiles/other nations] “that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:"


Romans 4:12: "And the father of circumcision to them” [The Gentiles/other nations] “who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised."


Romans 4:13: "For the promise, that he” [Abraham] “should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed," [Christ] "through the law, but through the righteousness of faith."

Romans 4:14: "For if they" [The Jews/circumcision] "which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:"


Romans 4:15: "Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression."


Romans 4:16: "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that” [The believing Jews] “only which is of the law, but to that” [The believing Gentiles] “also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,"

Galatians 3:29: "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Romans 4:17: "(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he” [Abraham] “believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were."


Romans 4:18: "Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be."


Romans 4:19: "And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:"


Romans 4:20: "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;"


Romans 4:21: "And being fully persuaded that, what he” [God] had promised, he was able also to perform."


Romans 4:22: "And therefore it was imputed to him” [Abraham] “for righteousness."


Romans 4:23: "Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;"


Romans 4:24: "But for us” [The children of God by faith in Christ Jesus] “also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him” [God] “that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;"


Romans 4:25: "Who was delivered for our” [The children of God by faith in Christ Jesus] “offences, and was raised again for our justification."

Galatians 3:6-29

Galatians 3:6: "Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."


Galatians 3:7: "Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham."


Galatians 3:8: "And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed."


Galatians 3:9: "So then they" [All nations] "which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham."


Galatians 3:10: "For as many as are of the works of the law" [The Levitical Law/Priesthood] "are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."


Galatians 3:11: "But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith."


Galatians 3:12: "And the law" [The Levitical Law/Priesthood] "is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them."


Galatians 3:13: "Christ hath redeemed us" [The children of God by faith in Christ Jesus] "from the curse of the law," [Sin and death] "being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:"


Galatians 3:14: "That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we" [The children of God by faith in Christ Jesus] "might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."


Galatians 3:15: "Brethren, I” [Paul] “speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's” [Abraham’s] “covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto."


Galatians 3:16: "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He” [God] “saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."


Galatians 3:17: "And this I” [Paul] “say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law," [The Levitical Law/Priesthood] "which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise [To Abraham] “of none effect."


Galatians 3:18: "For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise."


Galatians 3:19: "Wherefore then serveth the law?" [The Levitical Law/Priesthood] "It was added because of transgressions, till the seed [Christ] “should come to whom the promise was made; "and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator." Moses.


Galatians 3:20: "Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one."


Galatians 3:21: "Is the law" [The Levitical Law/Priesthood] "then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law."


Galatians 3:22: "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe."


Galatians 3:23: "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed."


Galatians 3:24: "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith."


Galatians 3:25: "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."


Galatians 3:26: "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."


Galatians 3:27: "For as many of you as have been baptized" [The Holy Ghost] "into Christ have put on Christ."


Galatians 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."


Galatians 3:29: "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Galatians 4:21-31

Galatians 4:21: “Tell me,” [Paul] “ye” [Those in the churches of Galatia] “that desire to be under the law,” [The Levitical Law/Priesthood] “do ye not hear the law?”


Galatians 4:22: “For it is written," [In the book of the law] "that Abraham had two sons, the one” [Ishmael] “by a bondmaid,” [Hagar/Agar] “the other” [Isaac] “by a freewoman.” Sarah.


Galatians 4:23: “But he” [Ishmael] “who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh;" [Not by the promise of God] "but he” [Isaac] “of the freewoman was by promise.”


Galatians 4:24: “Which things are an allegory:” [Spiritual meaning] “for these” [The bondwoman/Ishmael born after the flesh and the freewoman/Isaac born by the promise from God] “are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage," [Death from Adam] "which is Agar.”


Galatians 4:25: “For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to" [Or corresponds to the present] "Jerusalem" [The Jews who kept the Levitical Laws and refused to accept Christ] "which now is," [During the time period of Paul’s (this) letter] "and is in bondage" [Under sin and death from Adam] "with her children."


Galatians 4:26: “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all."


Galatians 4:27: “For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate" [The children of the flesh] "hath many more children than she which hath an husband."


Galatians 4:28: “Now we, brethren," [The children of God by faith in Christ Jesus] "as Isaac was, are the children of promise.”


Galatians 4:29: “But as then he” [Ishmael] “that was born after the flesh persecuted him” [Isaac] “that was born after the Spirit even so it is now.”


Galatians 4:30: “Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman [The first covenant given to  Moses (The Levitical Priesthood), Hagar/Agar, see verses 24-25] “and her son:" [The Israelites according flesh/those who rejected Christ] "for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.”


Galatians 4:31: “So then, brethren," [The children of God by faith in Christ Jesus] "we are not children of the bondwoman,” [The children of the flesh] “but of the free.”
