Romans 5:12-14, 17-21

Romans 5:12: "Wherefore, as by one man" [Adam] "sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"


Romans 5:13: "(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law."


Romans 5:14: "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come."


Romans 5:17: "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)"


Romans 5:18: "Therefore as by the offence of one" [Adam] "judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one" [Jesus Christ] "the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life."


Romans 5:19: "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."


Romans 5:20: "Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:"


Romans 5:21: "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."




1 Corinthians 15:20-23, 45-49

1 Corinthians 15:20: "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."


1 Corinthians 15:21: "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead."


1 Corinthians 15:22: "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."


1 Corinthians 15:23: "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."


1 Corinthians 15:45: "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam" [Christ] "was made a quickening spirit."


1 Corinthians 15:46: "Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual."
