John 1:1-14

Christ The Light of The World

John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."


John 1:2: "The same was in the beginning with God."


John 1:3: "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."


John 1:4: "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."


John 1:5: "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."


John 1:6: "There was a man sent from God, whose name was John." [The Baptist]


John 1:7: "The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light," [Jesus Christ] "that all men through him might believe."


John 1:8: "He" [John] "was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light."


John 1:9: "That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."


John 1:10: "He" [Jesus Christ] "was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not."


John 1:11: "He came unto his own, and his own received him not."


John 1:12: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"


John 1:13: "Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."


John 1:14: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."




John 3:17-21

John 3:17: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."


John 3:18: "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."


John 3:19: "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."


John 3:20: "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."


John 3:21: "But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." See John 8:12 John 8:12: "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." .




John 12:35-36, 46

John 12:35: "Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light," [See John 9:4-5 John 9:4: "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."

John 9:5: "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
] "lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth."


John 12:36: "While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light..."
See Isaiah 55:1, 4, 5 Isaiah 55:1: "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."

Isaiah 55:4: "Behold, I have given him" [Jesus Christ] "for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people."

Isaiah 55:5: "Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee."

Isaiah 55:7: "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."

Isaiah 55:8: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."

Isaiah 55:12: "For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."

John 12:46: "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness."

My Sheep Hear My Voice

John 10:7: "Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep."


John 10:9: "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."


John 10:11: "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."


John 10:14: "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."


John 10:15: "As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep."


John 10:16: "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:" [Nation] "them" [The
other sheep] "also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold,"

John 10:17: "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again."


John 10:18: "No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."


John 10:27: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:"


John 10:28: "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."


John 10:29: "My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."


John 10:30: "I and my Father are one."

John 6:44

John 6:44: "No man can come to me," [Jesus Christ] "except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."




John 15:16

John 15:16: "Ye" [The disciples] "have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."




Luke 10:22

Luke 10:22: "All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him."




John 17:6-8, 12-13

John 17:6: "I" [Christ] have manifested thy name unto the men" [The disciples] "which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word."


John 17:7: "Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee."


John 17:8: "For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me."


John 17:12: "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled."


John 17:13: "And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves." See Luke 15:8-10 Luke 15:8: "Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?"

Luke 15:9: "And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost."

Luke 15:10: "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."

Mark 16:14-20

Mark 16:14: "Afterward he" [Jesus Christ] "appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen."


Mark 16:15: "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
