Make War with The Saints: Revelation 13:3-7, 11, 13-15 | Matthew 24:9, 21-22 | Daniel 12:1-3 | Revelation 6:9-11 |
Revelation 13:3: “And I" [John] "saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death;” [Killed] “and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the BEAST.” The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed.
Revelation 13:5: “And there was given unto him" [The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed] "a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.” The forty and two months or 3 ½ years, is the time period of The Great Tribulation.
Revelation 13:6: “And he” [The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed] “opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.”
Revelation 13:7: “And it was given unto him” [The BEAST whose deadly wound was healed] “to make war with the saints," [The 144,000/Servants of God] "and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
Revelation 13:11: “And I" [John] "beheld another beast” [The False Prophet] “coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
Revelation 13:13: “And he” [The False Prophet] “doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,”
Revelation 13:14: “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the BEAST;" [Whose deadly wound was healed] "saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the BEAST, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
Revelation 13:15: “And he had power to give life unto the image of the BEAST,” [Idolatry] “that the image of the BEAST should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the BEAST should be killed.” See Daniel 7:21 Daniel 7:21: "I beheld, and the same horn" [The False Prophet] "made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;" .
Matthew 24:9: "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake."
Matthew 24:21: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
Matthew 24:22: “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”
Daniel 12:1: “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble," [The Great Tribulation] "such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”
Daniel 12:2: “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth" [The dead] "shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”
Daniel 12:3: “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they" [The true teachers] "that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
Revelation 6:9: “And when he” [Christ] “had opened the fifth seal, I” [John] “saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:”
Revelation 6:10: “And they" [The souls under the altar] "cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
Revelation 6:11: “And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren," [The rest of the 144,000] "that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”
