Genesis 1:1-5

Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."


Genesis 1:2: "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."


Genesis 1:3: "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."


Genesis 1:4: "And God saw the light, that it was good:" [See 2 Corinthians 4:1-3 2 Corinthians 4:1: "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;"

2 Corinthians 4:2: "But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God."

2 Corinthians 4:3: "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:"

1 Thessalonians 5:6: "Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."

John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."


John 1:2: "The same was in the beginning with God."


John 1:3: "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."


John 1:4: "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."


John 1:5: "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."


John 1:10: "He" [Jesus Christ] "was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not."




Hebrews 1:1-2

Colossians 1:12-18

Colossians 1:16: "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"


Colossians 1:17: "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."


Colossians 1:18: "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
