Genesis 3:1-5, 13-15

Genesis 3:1: "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"


Genesis 3:2: "And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:"


Genesis 3:3: "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die."


Genesis 3:4: "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:"


Genesis 3:5: "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."


Genesis 3:13: "And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat."


Genesis 3:14: "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:"


Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

Luke 4:1-13

Luke 4:1: "And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,"


Luke 4:2: "Being forty days tempted of the devil." [The serpent] "And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered."


Luke 4:3: "And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread."


Luke 4:4: "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."


Luke 4:5: "And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time."


Luke 4:6: "And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it."


Luke 4:7: "If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine."


Luke 4:8: "And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."


Luke 4:9: "And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:"


Luke 4:10: "For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:"


Luke 4:11: "And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."


Luke 4:12: "And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God."


Luke 4:13: "And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season."

John 12:27-33

John 12:27: "Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour."


John 12:28: "Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."


John 12:29: "The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him."


John 12:30: "Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes."


John 12:31: "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world" [The serpent/the devil] "be cast out."


John 12:32: "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."


John 12:33: "This he said, signifying what death he should die."

1 John 3:8, 10

1 John 3:8: "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."


1 John 3:10: "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother."




Revelation 12:9-12

Revelation 12:9: “And the great dragon was cast out,” [Of heaven] “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”


Revelation 12:10: “And I" [John] "heard" [At the time when Satan and his angels were cast out of heaven] "a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser” [Satan] “of our brethren is cast down,” [Into the earth] “which accused them before our God day and night.”


Revelation 12:11: “And they” [The brethren/Servants of God] “overcame him” [Satan] “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;" [The Spirit from God] "and they loved not their lives unto the death.”


Revelation 12:12: “Therefore” [Because Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven] “rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them." [The righteous angels] "Woe” [Affliction, suffering, misery etc.] “to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” See
Revelation 20:1-3 Revelation 20:1: "And I” [John] “saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand."

Revelation 20:2: "And he” [The angel] “laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"

Revelation 20:3: "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”
| 7, 10 Revelation 20:7: "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,” The bottomless pit.

Revelation 20:10: "And the devil that deceived them" [The nations] "was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone…"
