The Horrible Clouds

Message to reader: The Horrible Clouds/The Sign of the Son of Man

Matthew 24:29: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:”

Mathew 24:30: “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” See Revelation 1:7 and Jeremiah 25:30-33.



THE CLOUDS AND THE STAR


2 Esdras 15:34: “Behold clouds from the east and from the north unto the south, and they” [The clouds] “are very horrible to look upon, full of wrath and storm.”


2 Esdras 15:35: “They” [The clouds] “shall smite one upon another, and they shall smite down a great multitude of stars upon the earth,” [See Wisdom of Solomon 5:20-23, Psalms 18:7-14 and Isaiah 66:15-16] “even their own star;” [See Revelation 22:16] “and blood shall be from the sword unto the belly,”


2 Esdras 15:36: “And dung of men unto the camel's hough.”


2 Esdras 15:37: “And there shall be great fearfulness and trembling upon earth: and they” [The people alive on earth] “that see the wrath shall be afraid, and trembling shall come upon them.”


2 Esdras 15:38: “And then shall there come great storms from the south, and from the north, and another part from the west.”


2 Esdras 15:39: “And strong winds shall arise from the east, and shall open it; and the cloud which he” [The Most High] “raised up in wrath, and the star stirred” [Moved] “to cause fear toward the east and west wind, shall be destroyed.”


2 Esdras 15:40: “The great and mighty clouds shall be puffed up full of wrath, and the star,” [Christ] “that they may make all the earth afraid, and them that dwell therein; and they” [The clouds] “shall pour out over every high and eminent place an horrible star,”


2 Esdras 15:41: “Fire, and hail, and flying swords, and many waters, that all fields may be full, and all rivers, with the abundance of great waters.” See Wisdom of Solomon 5:22-23, Zechariah 14:12 and Malachi 4:1.


2 Esdras 15:42: “And they” [The clouds] “shall break down the cities and walls, mountains and hills, trees of the wood, and grass of the meadows, and their corn.”


2 Esdras 15:43: “And they shall go stedfastly unto Babylon, and make her afraid.”


2 Esdras 15:44: “They shall come to her,” [Babylon] “and besiege her, the star" [Christ] "and all wrath shall they" [The clouds] "pour out upon her: then shall the dust and smoke go up unto the heaven,” [See Isaiah 34:8-10] “and all they that be about her shall bewail her.” See Revelation 18:9-19.


2 Esdras 15:45: “And they that remain under her” [Babylon] “shall do service unto them that have put her in fear.” See Daniel 7:18, 26-27.
