2 Esdras 13:52: “And he said

sea: even so can no man upon earth see my Son, or those
that be with him, but in THE DAY time.”
Isaiah 59:20:
"And the Redeemer" [Christ] "shall come to
Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in
Jacob," [The children of God (followers of Christ)]
"saith the LORD."
Isaiah 59:21:
"As for me, this is my covenant with them,”
[Christ and his followers] “saith the LORD; My
spirit that is upon thee," [Christ] "and my

The Prophecy of THE
LIGHT/DAY (Christ and His Disciples), NIGHT/DARKNESS,
and the Return of THE LIGHT/DAY
2 Esdras 7:28-31, Isaiah
60:1-2 and Daniel 9:26-27
explains the coming of Christ and the gathering of God’s
people; the DARKNESS that follows; and the regeneration
of the followers of Christ and those that rejected him.
Daniel 9:26:
"And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be
cut off, but not for himself:” [See
Isaiah 53:3-5, 7, 10-12 and Hebrews 9:28] “and the people of the
prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the
sanctuary;” [See
Luke 21:20] “and the end
thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the
war desolations are determined.” See
Luke 21:22-24.
Daniel 9:27:
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one
week:” [See
Isaiah 60:2, Revelation 10:8-11 and Isaiah 30:20-21]
“and in the midst of the week he shall cause the
sacrifice and the oblation to cease,” [See
Daniel 7:25] “and for the overspreading of abominations he
shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and
that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” See
Revelation 19:20.
During the Babylonian/Persian captivity Esdras was
shown the prophecy of LIGHT (Christ The Redeemer), His
disciples, and the followers of Christ; DARKNESS (False
Teachers/Lies); and return of THE LIGHT.
THE LIGHT/DAY (Christ and His Disciples)
2 Esdras 7:28: “For my son
Jesus shall be revealed with those that be with
him, and they that remain shall
rejoice within four hundred years.” See

THE NIGHT/DARKNESS (After
Christ and His Disciples)
2 Esdras 7:29: “After these years shall my
son Christ die, and all men that have life.” The
disciples of Christ. See
Daniel 9:26.
2 Esdras 7:30: “And the world shall
be turned into the old silence seven days,"
[DARKNESS, see
John 9:4] "like as in the former judgments: so
that no man shall remain.” See
